Effective July 1, 2026, the RuggOTA cloud servers have reached their end of life (EOL) and have been permanently decommissioned. As a result, the RuggOTA (Over-The-Air Update) service is no longer available, and the application can no longer connect to the servers to check for or download firmware and software updates.

To ensure the best user experience and prevent unnecessary connection error notifications, users are advised to select "Decline" or "Disagree" when prompted by the RuggOTA application. This action will safely disable background connection attempts associated with the retired service.
Important Information

•    RuggON reserves the right to discontinue services in accordance with the original software licensing terms.
•    The discontinuation of RuggOTA does not affect the core functionality or normal operation of RuggON devices.
•    Future firmware and software updates will be provided through alternative official RuggON channels.
•    Devices that continue running the application may experience repeated connection error notifications, as the
service infrastructure is no longer available.
